Swan Lake

The Royal Ukrainian Ballet is a world-renowned classical ballet company, featuring around 45 dancers. The ensemble tours globally, bringing traditional full-length ballet masterpieces to venues across Europe, the Americas, and beyond. The company is known for its elaborate costumes and stage decorations, and especially for its superb dancers, the majority of whom were trained in classical Ukrainian academies. Artistic director Anatoliy Kazatskiy was the principal dancer at the Kharkiv Opera and Ballet Theatre in Ukraine.

The company is staunchly supportive of Ukrainian independence, but Kazatskiy refuses to boycott works of Russian composers, reasoning that music is music. The ensemble is currently on tour with its acclaimed production of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, one of the best-loved ballets of all time.

The Royal Ukrainian Ballet will give a single performance of Swan Lake in San Miguel de Allende on Wednesday, November 4. The chosen venue could not be more enchanting, or appropriate, for this ballet – the lakeside performance area at Valle de los Senderos, about two miles from the center of San Miguel.

The twilight performance will begin at 6:30pm, but the festivities begin at 5:00pm, with food and beverage service in the lush surroundings. VIP ticketholders will be offered complimentary wine and charcuterie boards at tables set up at their couch seats, as well as an after-show cocktail with the main artists and sponsors.

All seats are reserved. VIP tickets are priced at 2800 MX, Center seats at 1900 MX, and Side seats at 1500 MX.
